Sourcing the material itself is not always the whole procurement process. As of now, South Coast Stone have means of transporting slabs from across the world to our facility by road and by boat. This enables us to where necessary accelerate the lead time between purchasing slabs and having them manufactured ready for installation, which will come as music to any main contractor's ears. Our storage facility in Dorset is capable of housing over 800 slabs at any given moment, all stored safely and securely, immediately available for manufacturing.
Natural Stone suppliers such as Marble and Granite Centre make our lives as fabricators much simpler by collecting marbles, granites, limestones, onyx and slates from around the world for us to purchase. Where specific materials are not available from these suppliers we attempt to locate the slabs direct from the quarries.
